Oil deliveries from the Ceyhan marine terminal in the southern Adana province of Turkey reached 2.5 billion barrels from 2006 till the end of September 2016, according to Turkey's BOTAS Pipeline Corporation.

The 1,776 kilometer-long BTC pipeline, which ends in the Ceyhan port, was built by the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline company, BTC Company. It became operational in June 2006 and has a capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. It delivers Azerbaijani light crude -- mainly from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field -- through Georgia to Turkey's Mediterranean port of Ceyhan for further export via tankers.

BOTAS' data showed that over 3,000 tankers transferred Azerbaijani oil to the world market from the Haydar Aliyev Marine Terminal in Ceyhan since 2006.

The largest amount of oil deliveries was made in 2010 with 286.2 million barrels and the lowest was made in 2006 with 57.7 million barrels.
