British economy narrows by 0.3% in April
All main sectors post negative GDP figures for 1st time since January 2021

The UK's economy has shrunk by 0.3% in April, on a monthly basis, official data showed on Monday.
Production, construction and services items all dropped by 0.6%, 0.4% and 0.3%, respectively, in April, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement.
"This is the first time that all main sectors have contributed negatively to a monthly GDP estimate since January 2021," it added.
The country's economy was also shrank by 0.1% in March, according to the authority.
The statistical authority said price increases and supply chain shortages continue to have a severe impact on businesses.
