Coca-Cola, Nestle top drink, food brands rankings
Coca-Cola's brand value up 19.1% to reach $36.2 billion year-on-year in 2019

The U.S.-based beverage brand Coca-Cola was named the most valuable soft drink brand in the world, while Swiss Nestle was the most valuable food brand, according to research by a London-based valuation consultancy firm.
Six of the top 10 soft drink brands were from the U.S., while five of U.S.-based food brands placed among the top 10 food brands, the Brand Finance's report showed Wednesday.
Coca-Cola's brand value, which rose by 19.1% year-on-year in 2019, was $36.2 billion, while the U.S.-origin Pepsi and Austrian Red Bull followed it with $18.5 billion, and $8.7 billion, respectively.
The other top 10 soft drink brands were Nescafe, Sprite, Gatorade, Monster, Dr. Pepper, Fanta, and Lipton.
On the food side, Nestle's brand value was $19.6 billion, while French Danone ($8.15 billion) was the second on the list and the Chinese Yili ($7.66 billion) placed the third.
The report highlighted that Kellogg's, Tyson, Mengniu, Wrigley, Lay's, Mc Cain and Craft were other most valuable food brands
Brand Finance also released a list of companies with the largest portfolio list, where Nestle ranked first with its $70.4 billion value.
Pepsi.Co and the Coca-Cola Company followed it with $58.9 billion, and $53.6 billion, according to the report.
Other companies with the largest portfolios were Unilever, Danone, KraftHeinz, Mars, Mondelez, General Mills, and Wilmar.
