European exchanges finish Friday lower

Spain's IBEX 35 performs worst, diving 1.15%; Italy's FTSE MIB plummets 1.09%

European exchanges finish Friday lower

ISTANBUL 

Stock exchanges in Europe finished Friday on a lower note.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 3.8 points, or 0.73%, to close at 515.11.

The UK's FTSE 100 shed 34 points, or 0.42%, to 8,237. Germany's DAX decreased 90 points, or 0.5%, to 18,163.

France's CAC 40 slumped 42 points, or 0.56%, to end the session at 7,628.

Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, dove 366 points, or 1.09%, to end the day at 33,308.

Spain's IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 128 points, or 1.15%, to close the week at 11,032.
