European stock markets close Monday mostly higher
Germany’s DAX 30 performs worst, falling 0.33%
ANKARA
Major European stock markets closed mostly higher on Monday as they factored in economic data and earnings results.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was broadly flat to finish the day at 462.24.
The UK’s FTSE 100 rose 29.9 points or 0.41 to close at 7,306.
Germany’s DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day, falling 43.36 points, or 0.33%, to 13,210.
France’s CAC 40 gained 20.7 points, or 0.33%, to 6,237. Italy’s FTSE MIB was up 170.7 points, or 0.80%, to end the day at 21,382.
Spain’s IBEX 35 lost 34 points, or 0.42%, to 8,085.
