Europe's GDP in fourth quarter of 2013 rises
GDP of Euro area keeps upward trend following the increase in third quarter of 2013.

ANKARA
Increased Gross Domestic Product (GDP) became firmer in Euro Areas (EA17-countries) and in EU28 countries during the fourth quarter of 2013, according to second estimates published by Eurostat on Wednesday.
The GDP rose by 0.3 percent in the Euro area (EA17-countries) and by 0.4 percent in the EU28 during the fourth quarter of 2013, compared with the previous quarter.
During the third quarter, GDP increased by 0.1 percent in the Euro area and 0.3 percent in EU28.
The seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.5 percent in the Euro area while increasing by 1.1 percent in the EU28 in the fourth quarter of 2013 compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
In comparison, the GDP of U.S. grew by 0.8 percent compared with the previous quarter while it rose 2.7 percent compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
Over the whole year in 2013, the GDP fell by 0.5 percent in the Euro area and rose by 0.1 percent in the EU28.
