According to the survey conducted among 1,052 investors, including 209 institutional ones, between September 3 and 5, the index jumped to 5.1 points in September from 0.9 points in August.
The market expectation was for the index to reach two points.

The Current Situation Index also improved, rising from minus eight points to minus 3.3 points to mark its best level since March 2022.
Sentix Managing Director Manfred Hubner emphasized that the economic upturn in the euro area continued to gain momentum in September.
Hubner pointed out that the euro area completely left recession trends behind.
Germany, the largest economy in the euro area, made a significant contribution to this overall improvement.
