Germany's industrial production down 2.2% in April

ISTANBUL

Germany's industrial production decreased 2.2% year-on-year in April, official figures revealed on Wednesday.

The production was also down 3.1% in March on a yearly basis, according to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).


On a monthly basis, the industrial production was up 0.7% in April.

"Outside industry, energy production in April 2022 was up by 16.1% on the previous month, after the revised figure had declined by just under 11% in March 2022," it added.
