ANKARA
Turks bought more homes in the April-June quarter than in the first three months of this year, Turkey's statistics authority said Friday.
Sales of homes rose by 10.35 percent from the January-March quarter to reach 106,035, TurkStat said, however, the figure marked a 1.19 percent drop from the second quarter a year earlier.
TurkStat said the average figure over the past 4 quarters were up by 11.37 percent.
Employers added 747 thousand jobs in May 2012.
