ANKARA
Turkey’s manufacturing industry used 77.1% of its capacity in June, marking a slightly gain, the country's Central Bank reported on Monday.
The capacity utilization rate (CUR) of the manufacturing industry rose by 0.8 percentage point on a monthly basis, up from 76.3% in May, the bank survey revealed.
The CUR figures are based on the responses given to its business tendency survey by local units operating in the manufacturing industry, according to the bank.
The Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT) said that while 1,717 companies responded to the survey in June, the monthly data does not reflect the CBRT's views or predictions.
