Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down at closing
BIST 100 loses 3.65 points as of Tuesday's closing

Turkey's benchmark stock index dropped 0.31% to close Tuesday at 1,174.70 points.
After starting the day at 1,180.92 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 3.65 points over Monday's close of 1,178.35 points.
During the day, the index hovered between 1,175.05 and 1,181.57 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 864 billion Turkish liras ($109 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 19.8 billion Turkish liras ($2.5 billion).
On the second transaction day of the week, 50 stocks on the index rose, 46 fell, and the remaining were flat compared to Monday.
The highest trading volumes were posted by energy firm Odas and glass manufacturer Sise and real estate investment trust Emlak Konut.
Conglomerate Net Holding was the best performer, with its shares up 10%, while stocks of food company Kerevitas dropped the most, losing 7.92%.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,870.00 by market close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $42.23 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Tuesday.
