Havas Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement with Pegasus Airlines for ground handling services.
According to a statement by the Istanbul-based Havas on Tuesday, Havas Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of the Turkish Havas, has received a license for ground handling services at Medina Airport in Saudi Arabia.
Havas has begun providing ground handling services in Medina as part of the Umrah operations of Pegasus Airlines.
“We are very pleased with the agreement. We will provide ground handling services for approximately 200 flights that Pegasus will launch to the Holy Lands. We offer ground handling services at 25 airports in Turkey and 7 airports in Europe. We continue to grow locally and internationally to offer services at home and other countries in the region by expanding our service network and by forming new collaborations with Havas Saudi Arabia,” said Havas General Manager Kursad Kocak.
Havas Saudi Arabia will offer ground handling services for approximately 200 charter flights that Pegasus will launch at Medina for Umrah operations.
Umrah operations are planned to be launched as daily reciprocal flights. Providing ground handling services to Atlasglobal and Monarch Airlines at Medina Airport, Havas Saudi Arabia offers passenger, ramp, presentation and management, flight operations/load control and communications, cargo and mail services.
Havas provides service under the roof of TAV Airports. The main activities of the company include passenger and luggage transactions, ramp, aircraft cleaning, load control and communication, cargo, flight operations, transportation, representation and supervision services.
