Turkish Airlines' new destination in Africa: Libreville

ISTANBUL

Turkey's national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) began flights to and from Gabon's capital of Libreville on Thursday.

THY has increased the number of countries it has flights to 97 and its flight destinations in Africa to 34 with the inclusion of Libreville, according to a written statement released on Thursday. 
A round ticket to Libreville costs 484 euro, including all taxes and the flights will take place three times a week from Istanbul, connecting from Douala.
