ISTANBUL
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) will provide food to needy countries, especially to Syria's civil population, the country's Official Gazette announced on Wednesday.
The food -- flour, chickpea and green lentil -- will be transported by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD) and the Turkish Red Crescent.
The transportation expenses will be met by the AFAD.
The TMO is assigned to grant flour up to 100,000 tons and cereals up to 10,000 tons.
