Turkish stock exchange up at open
BIST 100 index earns over 160 points at opening session on Tuesday

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 9,462.68 points, up by 1.76% or 163.32 points from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 soared by 2.82% to 9,299.36 points, with a daily transaction volume of 183 billion Turkish liras ($4.82 billion).
As of 10.30 am local time (0730GMT), exchange rates stood at 37.9885 liras to the US dollar, 40.9790 to the euro, and 49.0385 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,015.35, while Brent crude oil was trading at $72.50 per barrel.
