Turkish stocks open Tuesday in green

ISTANBUL 

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 9,443.74 points, up 0.21% or 20.12 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 went up by 0.45% to 9,423.62 points, with a daily transaction volume of 76.1 billion Turkish liras ($2 billion).

As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 38.0570 liras to the US dollar, 43.1915 to the euro, and 50.2555 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $3,222.75, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.90 per barrel.
