ANKARA
The Turkish Treasury said on Friday that its cash balance posted a 530 million Turkish lira ($240.5 million) deficit in January.
According to provisional cash balance figures, the Treasury’s cash revenues were 35.302 billion TL, while its non-interest expenditures were 32.046 billion TL.
After an interest payment of 4.51 billion TL, the cash balance ran a deficit of nearly 530 million TL, the Treasury confirmed.
