Türkiye's annual inflation cools to 15-month low of 48.58% in October
Consumer prices rise 2.88% month-on-month in October, above market forecast

Türkiye's annual consumer inflation rate eased to 48.58% in October, the lowest rate since July 2023, according to official data released on Monday.
The figure decreased for the fifth straight month from 49.38% in September, the headline inflation was above the market forecast, TurkStat data showed.
The cost of energy increased 59.37% year-on-year in October, down from a 62.94% rise in September.
The price hike for food and non-alcoholic beverages accelerated to 45.28% in October, compared to 43.72% in the prior month.
Core inflation, excluding energy, food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco, cooled to 47.75% last month.
On a monthly basis, the consumer prices index increased 2.88% in October, slowing from September's 2.97%.
An Anadolu survey on Friday projected that October inflation fell to 49.38% on a yearly basis and 2.46% on a monthly basis.
