Türkiye's BIST 100 down 0.9% at close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the day at 11,116.99 points on Friday, down by 0.92%.

After starting the day at 11,234.39 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 103.38 points from Thursday's close.

The lowest value of the index was 10,707.18, while the daily high was 11,245.06.

The market value of the BIST 100 was around 10.9 trillion Turkish liras ($220.1 billion), with a trading volume of 148 billion liras ($3 billion).

A total of 27 stocks on the index rose and 72 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $3,995.5 per ounce, and Brent crude futures traded for $117.5 as of 1540GMT.

While the US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 49.7370, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 55.7530, and the British pound traded for 66.6060.
