Türkiye's BIST 100 down at open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 14,381.24 points, down slightly by 0.17% or 24.01 points from Tuesday's close.

At the previous close, the BIST 100 rose by 1.79% to 14,405.25 points, with a daily transaction volume of 254 billion Turkish liras ($5.25 billion).

As of 11.00 am local time (0700GMT), exchange rates stood at 48.4775 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 56.4650 to the euro, and 65.7555 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,407.5, while Brent crude futures were trading at $99.8 per barrel.
