Türkiye's BIST 100 flat at open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 12,888.33 points, down slightly by 0.02% or 2.76 points.

At Thursday's close, the BIST 100 fell by 2.74% to 12,888.33 points, with a daily transaction volume of 111 billion liras ($2.26 billion).

As of 10.45 am local time (0745GMT), exchange rates stood at 48.8550 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.7675 to the euro, and 65.8585 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,277.9, while Brent crude futures were trading at $106.25 per barrel.
