Türkiye's BIST 100 index ends Monday lower

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 14,058.51 points, down 0.11% from the previous close.

Starting the new week at 13,924.22 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 15.28 points from Friday's close.

The index's lowest value during the day was 13,842.77, while its daily high was 14,099.20.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 13.71 trillion Turkish liras ($307.99 billion), with a daily trading volume of 214.6 billion Turkish liras ($4.8 billion).

During the day, 61 stocks on the index declined and 38 rose compared to the previous close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,078.55, while Brent crude oil futures sold for around $101.36 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 44.7195, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 52.3885, and a British pound traded for 60.2050 Turkish liras.
