Athens and Washington agreed that energy cooperation is one of the six priorities in the Greece-US Strategic Dialogue.

Brouillette later wrote on Twitter that it was an “honor” to meet the Greek prime minister to discuss “Greece's success at promoting regional cooperation & shared prosperity through energy.”

“We are committed to supporting projects like TAP [Trans Adriatic Pipeline], Alexandroupoli FSRU [Floating Storage Regasification Unit], IGB [Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria], & Greece's role in East Med Gas Forum & Three Seas Initiative,” he added.
