ISTANBUL (AA) - Facebook has to be where users are, its head of vertical measurements for EMEA Tony Evans has told AA in an exclusive interview.
Evans said digital was not as much as TV in terms of how much time we have spent, adding that the habit has changed in favor of digital. There are different ways to access information within digital, he added.
“We made the change a long time ago. We decided to design everything for mobile first. Before we design for PC, we design for mobile,” he added.
Tony Evans stressed that Facebook has to be where users are. “We make the change predominantly for users,” he noted. He said that mobile is great for both users and advertisers.
Although Facebook faces a challenge in area of digital advertising dominantly from rival social media platforms, Tony Evans said that Facebook is at a good place. “If you look at growth revenue, we have started going to an excellent position. We have accelerated our revenue again,” he said.
