Russia and Ukraine exchanged overnight drone strikes, with Moscow saying its forces hit logistics and communications facilities in Ukraine, while Kyiv reported air defense activity at several locations.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday that its forces struck logistics and communications facilities in Ukraine, as well as a cargo vessel carrying military and dual-use goods for Ukrainian forces.
The ministry said the strikes hit a transport and logistics center in Kyiv, where a facility for producing unmanned boats had been set up, as well as a data center in Odesa region that processed intelligence and other service information for Ukrainian forces.
The ministry added that a dry cargo vessel carrying military equipment and dual-use goods for Ukrainian forces was also hit at the port of Chornomorsk in Odesa region.
Ukraine, according to the ministry, responded with drone attacks, and air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 330 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s General Staff said air defenses shot down or suppressed 87 Russian drones.
It also reported strikes at 11 locations and falling debris from downed drones at four locations.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported impacts in Kyiv, Odesa and Sumy, adding that there were no deaths or injuries.
The claims by both sides could not be independently verified.
