The British military fired gun salutes across the UK amid ringing church bells on Friday to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
In all, 96 rounds were fired in honor of the number of years the Queen lived.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery fired the Death Gun Salute in Hyde Park, London.
Rounds were also fired in the capital by the Honourable Artillery Company at the Tower of London.
Likewise, castles in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland hosted gun salutes, which were also fired by British troops in Plymouth, Dover, York, and Gibraltar.
At midday, bells were rung at Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, and Windsor Castle.
King Charles III arrived in London in the afternoon and will give his first speech as the king in the evening.
