China to send more COVID-19 vaccine doses to Serbia
500,000 doses of vaccines to be delivered on President Vucic's birthday
BELGRADE, Serbia
China will send an additional 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine to Serbia in March.
According to the state media, the delivery was arranged by China’s President Xi Jinping with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic. The vaccines are scheduled to be delivered on March 5, the birthday of Vucic.
Serbia received 500,000 doses of vaccine from China in early February after Beijing delivered 1 million doses in January to the Balkan nation.
