Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok will start a two-day official visit to Turkey on Wednesday, said the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
"During the visit, Turkish-Dutch bilateral relations, our EU process, and current regional and international issues will be on the agenda," said the statement.
As part of his visit, Blok is to "pay a brief visit" to the Turkish parliament, which was attacked during the 2016 defeated coup attempt by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).
FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 251 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.
Additionally, Blok and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will attend the TRT World Forum on Thursday.
The forum, with the theme "Envisioning Peace and Security in a Fragmented World," will host more than 600 leading politicians, businesspeople, academics, activists, journalists, opinion leaders, intellectuals, and policymakers.
