Kyiv discusses security guarantees, military aid with Nordic, Baltic advisors

ISTANBUL
Andriy Yermak, head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, held a video meeting with national security and diplomatic advisors from Nordic and Baltic countries to discuss security guarantees and military assistance, he announced Friday on Telegram.
Yermak said the discussions covered the outcomes of recent talks between Ukrainian and US delegations in Jeddah, which focused on achieving a just and lasting peace. He expressed gratitude to Ukraine’s partners for their support and coordinated efforts.
“Security guarantees for our country are the key to stability in Europe and effective deterrence of the aggressor,” Yermak said, reiterating Ukraine’s commitment to its security.
He also thanked the allies for military assistance, emphasizing that it strengthens not only Ukraine but also collective security. “We count on its further expansion,” he added.
