Prime Minister Mark Rutte said Tuesday that parts of the Netherlands are flooded due to heavy rains.
He said in a post on X that the floods damaged buildings and authorities were closely monitoring the situation, taking appropriate measures.
Media reports said eastern Overijssel and Gelderland, northeastern Drenthe, and southern Noord-Brabant were the most affected regions, with roads and buildings flooded.
Pumps were functioning to keep the water inside canals.
