Switzerland demanded “a thorough investigation” for a deadly attack on the Al-Ahli Arabi Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip which killed hundreds of victims. 

“As hundreds of deaths are being reported after a hospital was struck in Gaza, Switzerland recalls that hospitals and civilians must be protected at all times under international humanitarian law,” the Foreign Ministry wrote on X.

More than 500 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on Tuesday, Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra told Anadolu.

Footage showed bodies scattered across the hospital grounds.

Thousands of Palestinians were at the hospital when the building came under attack, according to an Anadolu reporter.
