TBILISI, Georgia
A prominent Turkish business association on Sunday opened a branch in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
Addressing a news conference, Abdurrahman Kaan, president of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD) said: “We as MUSIAD have 196 branches along with one in Tbilisi. We are also operating in 73 countries.”
Turkey's Ambassador in Tbilisi Fatma Ceren Yazgan said the new branch will boost economic ties of the two countries.
Officials from MUSIAD and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) also attended the event.
