WASHINGTON

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday received letters of credentials from newly appointed ambassadors to Ankara, the capital.

Erdogan separately welcomed Mexico’s Francisco Javier Diaz De Leon of Mexico, Egypt’s Wael İbrahim Ali Badawi el-Sheikh, Sri Lanka’s Niluka Kadurugamuwa, and Lithuania’s Marius Janukonis.

After the new envoys’ credentials were presented, souvenir photos were taken.
