OIC urges transparency in fight against COVID-19
OIC welcomes efforts by member countries to contain coronavirus, prevent its spread
ANKARA
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday called on its member states to be transparent in their efforts to curb the novel coronavirus.
"OIC General Secretariat urged all Member States to be more transparent and cooperative," the OIC said on Twitter.

The organization said it "welcomed the efforts" made by members to contain the COVID-19 disease and "prevent its spread."
The coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China last December, and has since spread to over 80 countries.
The global death toll has surpassed 3,300 with more than 98,000 cases, according to the World Health Organization.
