Real Madrid’s Mariano tests positive for coronavirus
26-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 but he is in 'perfect health', Spanish club says

ANKARA
Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz has been infected by the novel coronavirus, the Spanish football powerhouse said on Tuesday.
"After the COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday on our first team footballers by the Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Mariano, tested positive," Real Madrid said in a statement.
The 26-year-old Mariano is in "perfect health and is complying with the protocol of isolation at home.”
Mariano from Dominican Republic is not a Real Madrid regular.
He scored one goal in seven matches this season.
Mariano has a contract with Real Madrid until 2023.
