Eels’ journey of 7,000 km (4,350 miles) from Mexico to Turkey

Eels, whose reproduction area is Mexico’s Sargasso Bay, start their journey while they are still larva and reach their eventual destination inland waters in Turkey through the (Atlantic) ocean, Gibraltar, and the Mediterranean.
