4 soldiers killed in armed attack in Colombia
7 others injured in fight, says media report
BOGOTA, Colombia
Four soldiers were killed in Colombia and seven people were wounded in an attack against soldiers, a media report said Friday.
Caracol Radio said an armed attack was carried out against the soldiers in the countryside of the town of Segovia in the Antioquia administrative region.
The conflict continued for some time in the region where reinforcements were dispatched.
The Gaitanista Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AGC) and Clan del Golfo were blamed for the attack.
Caracol Radio said the army has been conducting operations against the two groups and has seized tons of drugs.
