ANKARA

At least eight people were killed after a boat capsized in southwest China's Guizhou province on Monday, according to state-run media.

The incident occurred in the morning on the Pingzheng River in Congjiang County, Xinhua News reported.

The private vessel capsized with 13 people on board, and five were rescued.

All five people are reported to be in stable condition.
