Rate comes in at 3.52%, down from 4.35% in June 2022, official figures show

Indonesia's annual inflation hits 14-month low in June

ISTANBUL

Indonesia's annual inflation rate hit 3.52% in June, marking the lowest level since April 2022, official figures showed on Monday.

The country's annual inflation was at 4% in May, 4.35% in June 2022, and 3.47% in April 2022, according to Statistics Indonesia.

In June, food-beverage-tobacco group's price was up by 2.85% on a yearly basis, while clothing and footwear group's annual inflation was at 1.47%.

Housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group's price increase was at 2.49%, the nation's statistical agency said.

The month-on-month inflation rate was at 0.14% in June in the country.
