Swiss Air suspends Zurich-Tel Aviv flights until Aug. 8
Flight suspension between Zurich and Beirut on July 29 has been extended until Aug. 12, says Swiss International Air Lines
GENEVA
Swiss International Air Lines suspended flights between Zurich in northern Switzerland and Israel's capital Tel Aviv on Friday due to the escalation of tension in the Middle East, which has been exacerbated by the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in an airstrike in Iran's capital Tehran.
The airline said in a statement that flights between Zurich and Tel Aviv will remain suspended until August 8 due to "crew and passenger safety concerns."
In addition, the flight suspension between Zurich and Beirut on July 29 has been extended until August 12.
Passengers affected by these disruptions are advised to book flights for later dates or request a refund.
