Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Thursday flat at 9,640.57 points, marking a slight increase of 0.01% or 0.80 points from the previous close.

On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index was up slightly by 0.04% to 9,639.77 points, with a daily transaction volume of 99.1 billion Turkish liras ($2.86 billion).

As of 10.00 a.m. (0700GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.6680 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.6350 for the euro, and 43.9040 for the British pound.

The price of one ounce of gold was $2,636.70, and the price of Brent crude oil traded at $72.2 per barrel.
