Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday he arrived in Singapore "to hear the voice of the Asia-Pacific" ahead of an international conference on Ukraine, scheduled for June in Switzerland.

Zelesnkyy said on Telegram that he arrived in Singapore to take part in the Shangri-La Dialogue conference, a key platform for security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

"Restoring a just peace in Ukraine, ensuring global food and nuclear security is the task of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland. That is why it will be important for us to hear the voice of the Asia-Pacific region there," he said.

Zelenskyy announced that he will speak at a conference and hold a number of meetings, including with President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, President of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Singaporean investors.
