2 Palestinians killed, several injured in Israeli strikes in war-torn Gaza
Israeli shelling targets civilians in Jabalia and south of Gaza City, according to witnesses
GAZA CITY, Palestine
Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in two Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to witnesses.
An Israeli drone opened fire on a group of civilians in the northern city of Jabalia, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others, witnesses said.
Another Palestinian was killed and several people were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a group of Palestinians near a clinic in Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, they added.
Despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued a devastating offensive on Gaza since an attack last year by the Palestinian resistance group.
More than 43,300 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 102,000 others injured, according to local health authorities.
Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
