2 people killed in helicopter crash in Israel
Cause of crash as yet unknown
JERUSALEM
Two people were killed Tuesday in a helicopter crash in southern Israel, according to local media.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation reported that a helicopter had crashed in the Negev region. Reports did not say if the helicopter was civilian or military.
In an earlier statement, the outlet said two people had been seriously injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash is so far unknown.
Ambulances and civil defense teams have reportedly arrived at the crash site.
