At least three people were killed on Friday -- and another four injured -- in two separate attacks by unknown perpetrators in Baghdad, according to a local police source.
“Unidentified gunmen stormed a house early Friday in Baghdad’s eastern Al-Mashtaal district, killing a doctor and two women,” Police Captain Ahmed Khalaf told Anadolu Agency.
According to Khalaf, the motive of the attack remains unclear.
In the capital’s Al-Radwaniyah district, meanwhile, four people were injured when a bomb exploded near a crowded market, according to the police captain.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for either attack.
