GAZA CITY, Palestine

At least four people were killed as Israeli fighter jets struck a house next to a shelter house in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, the Interior Ministry in the blockaded enclave said.

Local media reported that the Israeli strike targeted a house east of Jabalia refugee camp.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 11,320 Palestinians have been killed, including around 7,800 women and children, and over 29,200 others have been injured, according to the latest figures from Palestinian authorities.

Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques, and churches, have also either been damaged or fully destroyed in the Israeli offensive.

The official Israeli death toll stands at 1,200.
