There was no immediate comment from Israel
ANKARA
Seven civilians sustained injuries as a result of Israeli raids on several areas in central Syria on Friday, local media reported.
Citing a military source, the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted several sites in central Syria, but didn't specify the targeted areas.
It added that Syrian air defenses downed some of the rockets.
There was no immediate comment from Israel.
Israel has been intermittently carrying out attacks on Iranian-backed groups and military positions affiliated with the Syrian regime's army since the start of the country’s civil war in 2011.
