All banks in Iran will be fully operational starting Saturday, the country’s Bank Coordination Council announced, according to the state-run news agency on Friday.
This includes bank headquarters in the capital Tehran, IRNA reported, citing the council.
Customer service hours will remain the same as usual during the week, it added.
The announcement comes as hostilities in the region have escalated after the US and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran on Feb. 28, which left thousands dead and wounded.
On Tuesday, Washington and Tehran announced a two-week truce aimed at paving the way for a final agreement to end the war.
