Casualties as Israel targets areas across Gaza Strip
Ground and air attacks continue since last October

Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured on Friday in separate Israeli attacks across several governorates in the Gaza Strip, medical sources and witnesses said, as the conflict continues since Oct. 7, 2023.
Sources at the Baptist Hospital reported the arrival of 17 bodies of Palestinians and dozens of wounded in air and artillery strikes on homes and shelters in Gaza City's neighborhoods and areas in northern Gaza.
One person was killed and three others were injured by artillery targeting a group of Palestinians on Al-Shaaf Street in Gaza City. Another person was killed and others injured in bombing near the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
The Israeli army also targeted three shelters: Sharjah School in Al-Shati Camp, Cairo School in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, and Musa Bin Nusayr School in the al-Daraj neighborhood, resulting in the killing of seven Palestinians and the injury of many others.
Separately, four Palestinians were killed and 13 others injured in a raid that targeted a house in the ancient gold market in Gaza City.
Two others were killed and another six injured in a bombing of a house on Jaffa Street.
A woman and a child were killed in a bombing that targeted a home in Al-Daraj neighborhood.
Ground offensives have persisted in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City for over a week amid intense bombardment. The neighborhood has seen fierce battles between Palestinian resistance factions and Israeli forces.
In northern Gaza Strip, six Palestinians were killed and several others injured as a house was targeted on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad.
A Palestinian was also killed in Israeli shelling near Jabalia Camp.
In southern Gaza Strip, military vehicles advanced into the areas of Abu Halawa, Abu Al-Hussein, and the outskirts of the town of Al-Nasr.
In Khan Younis, artillery bombed the eastern areas, particularly the town of Al-Fukhari, coinciding with the firing of flare bombs in the vicinity.
Two Palestinians were killed and a woman was injured in an airstrike on a home in Bani Suhaila. Warplanes also fired three missiles near the Islamic University's headquarters in the area.
In the Central Governorate, one Palestinian was killed and another injured in airstrikes on homes and various areas in the region.
Four more Palestinians were killed in an attack on a house in Nuseirat Refugee Camp 5.
