CAIRO
A fighter jet crashed in a training area on Tuesday, killing the plane’s pilot, the Egyptian military said.
The incident took place while "carrying out the training activities of the Air Force ... a fighter jet crashed in one of the training areas, which resulted in the martyrdom of its pilot," the army said on Facebook.
The cause of the crash is being determined, the military said without elaborating.
